First Ferndale Jug Meeting
We held the first Ferndale Jug (Java User Group) meeting on the 29th August at the Jumping Bean offices. A small group of enthusiasts were present. Due to time constraints on the presenter, namely me, the presentation was on Tapestry only and Wicket was left to be dealt with on another day.
After the presentation we decided to continue the discussion at the local pub and retired to Paddy's at Catenburry Centre. The discussion was lively and informative. Let hope we can grow the Java community and the Ferndale Jug.
I will upload the presentation once I have tidied it up a bit. Also I think I will do a screencast. The JUG plans to hold a meeting once a month. If you are interested in joing the JUG drop us a line on the contact us form. Any topic suggestions are welcome. When we have time a mailing list will be setup.
