I thought I would upload the flyer we handed out at LinuxWorld recently. We designed the flyer ourselves and just got it printed. Initially our graphics people tried to use gimp for this but gimp is not great at handling text.
After seeing their frustration I remembered reading about scribus the open source DTP application so we donwloaded and tried it. Luckily I had used DTP programmes before when I was the editor of our varisty newspaper.
It was easy to use and learn. In less than 2 hours we had our flyer! The file is 5.3 megs in size! I zipped it but it didnt compress much. You will need a pdf viewer to read it.
