Saturday, was the 1 st September,the first official day of spring. Besides being a Saturday for a change the day was gloriously warm and sunny. Everything that spring day should be. I spent most of the morning outdoors, walking the dogs, enjoying the warmth and planning my first screencast.

Tapestry java framework screencast and presentation

This screencast is supposed to introduce people to Tapestry, a java web framework . Being my first attempt there are some problems, like the screen resolution being way to high. I still have to figure out how to reduce the size but hopefully will have done so by the next screencast.Also I have exported the presentation I gave at the first Ferndale Jug meeting.

Tapestry Java framework - screecast part 1

I broke the screen cast down into two parts. Part two has been done and will be uploaded tomorrow. Part one of the screencast takes people through setting up a basic tapestry project structure using maven and eclipse. Part two covers creation of a simple tapestry application. Nothing fancy just the basics.

I hope that the screencast is not unusable? But here it is anyway.
