Skilled Linux technicians needed!
Jumping Bean is looking to recruit two skilled Linux technicians. Applicants must be able to install , configure and troubleshoot the LAMP stack on a variety of Linux distributions and be able to read and implement installation instructions for a variety of PHP based applications such as Joomla/vTiger. Applicants must demonstrate a real passion for open source technology and have at least two years experience with Linux servers in a production environment. The applicant should also have skills in configuring and troubleshooting at least some of the following:
- Apache virtual servers,
- Bind,
- Postfix/Sendmail,
- Firewalls (iptables/shorewall),
- Asterisk, and
- VPNs
All successful applicants will have to join the company provident fund and Discovery medical aid, unless you are on your spouses medical contract.
