Have you been visited by the BSA?

The other day a gentleman was doing the rounds in our office park handing out pamphlets from the Business Software Alliance (BAS). Of course we warmly welcomed him in and took his literature. Our entire office is run on open source software and we were keen to show him how companies can avoid visits from the BSA.

Hi all,

I thought I would upload the flyer we handed out at LinuxWorld recently. We designed the flyer ourselves and just got it printed. Initially our graphics people tried to use gimp for this but gimp is not great at handling text.

After seeing their frustration I remembered reading about scribus the open source DTP application so we donwloaded and tried it. Luckily I had used DTP programmes before when I was the editor of our varisty newspaper.
