1) What is LPI-OT DevOps?
LPI-OT stands for "Linux Professional Institute - Open Technologies". The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) is a vendor neutral, community driven, certification body that focuses on open source certifications. In the past it create industry leading certifications for Linux and is now looking to create certifications for other open source technologies, platforms and stacks. DevOps is the latest certification to be created by LPI.

3) What is a beta exam and why is it free?
The LPI consults with community experts and industry leaders to determine what the needs of the workplace are. After discussions and consultation a list of objectives for a certification are created or updated in the case of existing certifications. The next step is to develop a question database for use in the exam. 4) When will I get my results?
Since this is a beta exam all the papers are sent to head-office in Candada for marking. Exams are taking place all over the globe from Japan to the US. All this take some time to complete so it may take up to 2-3 months to get your results.
